It’s that time to be thinking of the mid-winter retreat and
making your plans to attend.
This year's event will be held Jan 25-26 and instead of a
concert and trip to Valley Worlds of Fun the council has decided
to try a time of fellowship at the Parsons Church of the
Nazarene on Friday evening and then go to Canaan Valley Ski
resort on Saturday morning for a day of skiing.
The cost per person will be $30.00; this includes both the ski
rentals and lift tickets. I need to know how many by the 15th of
Jan.

Start making those plans now for your Youth group to attend.
There are going to be many fun activities planned for Friday
evening. Don't worry if you don't know how to ski, I have made
arrangements for some instructors to come and give us a
demonstration to prepare us to have a fun, safe and memorable
event.
I would suggest bringing your group sandwiches, snacks and
drinks for skiing on Saturday as the cost of food and drinks at
the lodge is very expensive.
