Dear Youth Leader,
The New Year is upon us, and that means that
BLAST is right around the corner. “What’s
BLAST,” you say? Well, it’s an event that
encourages our young adults to develop their
God given talents for His service.
Throughout the New Testament, we find
evidence that special abilities are given to
each believer through the grace of God to
serve the body of Christ and reach out to
unbelievers. These gifts and talents are to
be cultivated and used to build God’s
kingdom. The church plays a large part in
cultivating these abilities for ministry,
and therefore must provide opportunities for
development and use of these talents that
challenge our youth to reach their full
potential. This is the purpose of BLAST
(Building Leaders And Sharing Talents).
The district’s talent portion of BLAST will
take place at Morgantown Peirpont Church of
the Nazarene on February 23, 2008 at 9:00
a.m. In order to participate each student
must register on-line at
www.mvnu.edu/blast
by February 15th. No one will be allowed to
register after this date or on the date of
the event. If you are not registered by the
15th of February, you cannot participate.
Registration Instructions:
1. Go To

2. From the menu on the left, select
Registration Form
3. From the menu on the left, select Church
Registration
4. Select the blue box that says WVN
5. Find your church’s name in the drop down
box and click select
6. Select the blue box that says Add
Participant
7. Fill in your information and all events
you plan to participate in.
8. Note: If you plan to play the Piano,
please select Keyboard Solo not Instrumental
Solo
9. Students may participate in three events
for the cost of $5.00 per person. Any
additional events will cost the student
$2.00 per event. This will be due at the
registration table the day of the event.
